Graphic Nature started out as a summer program on 3RRR 102.7FM an independent radio broadcasting station in Melbourne, Australia.

First airing in Dec of 2014, it ran over the next four summers hosted by Zoran and Sarah Howell and a host of rotating special guest presenters from Melbourne’s comic book community.

Each show featured reviews of commercial and independent comics and graphic novel releases, discussions on comics related topics, as well as interviews with local creators, fans, comic book community groups and academics.

The format of the show was changed to a long form interview. A better fit for the podcast format, giving the time to interviewees to better explore their histories, their work, processes and thoughts.

The show may be a podcast now, available to download and listen to whenever you wish, but the mission is still the same - to explore the inspiring world of comic books, the culture that supports it, the creators, publishers and people behind the printed pages and digital screens pushing the medium on in to the future, in Australia, and the world.
